Culture is your character, where you came from, it identifies you to others and, it lives on because you love who you are. Culture will survive.
AI is every culture thrown together. It might be good in the long run because it is a shortcut to knowledge. The work has been done. Thinkers can tinker with what is. The thing that is worrisome is misinformation and outright lies. But then, since the printing press was invented, we have all been forewarned not to believe everything we read.
Your poetry is a beautiful sounding board. It knocks on our very own thought. Well, we are all human, aren’t we? How great is that? Keep on keeping on.
A very insightful way of looking at it. As many have lamented, it would be better for AI to do the work and allow us the creativity, than the other way around, but even in areas of work it is immoral to mass-replace workers. The goal is not progress, but efficiency in exploitation. People typically enjoy work, when it is with a purpose and they can be proud of it. Give us more of that. If we must suffer some hardship so that we can support unions in their efforts to insist on a better society for us all, I think it well worth it.
That is not even to touch upon the philosophical ramifications of having AI be our friend/companion/teacher/mentor/etc/etc... What a dismal way to cut humanity off from one another. Perhaps it can do some good things, but the potential for harm is extreme.
Brilliant!
thank u both <3
Agreed!
Spot on Maxine!
Any survivable culture will exist, with its own invisible hand on your reigns steering you to its end.
